Twelve teams played 22 league matches each. The top four reached the title semifinals. 12th played the winner of the First Division/Future promotion qualifier; 11th played its loser. Winners played Ereklasse the following season; losers played First Division, or Future Klasse for student teams. A Future student team had to finish in the top two to enter the qualifier. Otherwise, 12th faced the First Division Champions pool winner and 11th faced its runner-up.

Relegated: Played a promotion/relegation play-off, and the result moved the team up or down a division.
Stayed up: Won a promotion/relegation play-off and stays in the division it was already in.
