Hong Kong China Rugby runs a men’s Premiership, a separate Premiership A competition, and separate Championship, community, youth, tertiary, school and touch competitions. This page explains the completed 2025/26 men’s Premiership.
Permanent leagues, seasonal phases and parallel competitions stay separate so a cup or playoff is not mistaken for a league tier.
The 2025/26 Hong Kong Premiership used a 15-round three-meeting regular season followed by top-four semi-finals and a Grand Championship final.
League and Grand Championship
The regular-season order and knockout champion are separate outcomes. HKFC won both in 2025/26.
Premiership A is a separate higher-performance or reserve competition. Its teams are separate from first-XV sides, and there is no automatic promotion to the top Premiership.
Separate side identities
First-team and Premiership A names that carry a sponsor are shown as they appeared that season, not as fixed club names.
HKCR’s Match Centre lists Championship and community competitions separately from the two Premiership competitions. This page does not show how teams move between them.
Separate domestic families
Representative, invitational and cross-border entries in the Match Centre are not always domestic clubs or league tiers.
HKCR lists youth, tertiary and school competitions separately from senior club competitions.
Age and institution boundaries
School, university and youth teams are listed by team type, and no personal or registration data is shown here.
Touch and other separately labelled formats in the Match Centre are not fifteens rugby and do not form one combined club ladder.
Format stays explicit
Fifteens, touch, youth and other teams that share an organisation name are still separate teams.
