Cookie Policy
We only set non-essential cookies after you say yes.
Frostlete uses cookies and similar browser storage to run the site, measure what resonates, and (eventually) show you marketing that isn't repetitive. If you're visiting from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, nothing non-essential loads until you make a choice.
Categories
Essential
Always onKeep the site secure and functional — session identity, CSRF protection, load balancing, and your cookie consent choice itself.
- cookie_consent — stores your consent choice (1 year)
- __vercel_live — Vercel preview session cookie
Functional
Remember preferences that make the site feel personal — theme, locale, and dismissed hints. Off by default.
- Theme preference (dark/light)
- Dismissed banner state
Analytics
Understand which pages convert and where to invest. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and Consent Mode v2, so no identifiers are stored before you opt in.
- _ga, _ga_XXX — Google Analytics 4 (up to 2 years)
- Waitlist form interaction events
Marketing
Measure campaign performance and show relevant content. We don't currently run ads, but if we add retargeting, this category gates it.
- Reserved for future use — no marketing cookies set today
How we honour your choice
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. For EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors, ad and analytics storage default to denied; no identifiers are dropped until you accept. If you reject, Google Analytics runs in cookieless mode — aggregate metrics only, no client ID.
We respect Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If either is enabled, we skip the banner and apply an essential-only configuration automatically — no functional, analytics, or marketing storage without your explicit consent.
Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (cookie_consent) and in localStorage for 12 months. After that we'll ask again. If we update this policy materially, we'll ask you to re-confirm your preferences.
