How your choices apply
Google Consent Mode v2 starts with advertising and analytics storage denied for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Outside those regions, its initial settings allow that storage. A saved cookie choice updates these settings.
When Google Analytics is configured, its tags load even when analytics storage is denied and can send signals without cookies. Vercel Web Analytics loads separately and measures usage without analytics cookies. Declining analytics storage does not stop all measurement requests.
Sampled page-speed reports are sent to Google Analytics only when you allow analytics and your browser has no DNT or GPC opt-out. These reports include the page path and performance measurements, without URL queries, fragments or content you enter in our tools.
If your browser sends Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) and you have no saved choice, we skip the banner and save an essential-only preference. An existing saved choice is kept. You can change it using the preferences button above or the footer link.
Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (cookie_consent) for one year. A copy is also stored as cookie-consent in localStorage. That copy has no automatic expiry, so the site may keep using your saved choice after the cookie expires. A change to the consent policy version makes the site ask again. If we update this policy materially, we will ask you to confirm your preferences again. You can also change them at any time.
