“I built the app we always needed.”
— Brendan Bennett, founder

Type up Tuesday’s training and every player has it on their phone. See who is coming on Saturday and who has not answered, and send the reminder from the event. Put the test results on the leaderboard and see who is moving. Players, parents and the committee are in the same app with their own roles. See Frostlete for rugby parents.

Roles and permissions

Owner, admin, coach, manager, physio and player admin. The club decides what each role can see and change.

The rest of the club runs from the same app.

Trainings you can use again

Copy last Tuesday, or save a training to use again, so pre-season isn't typed out four times.

Players tick off their drills

Each player ticks their own drills off during training, and the coach sees who did what.

How many are going

The number going sits on the event, and the people who haven't answered sit next to it, so on Thursday you know who to chase.

Answer-by dates

Every event has one. Players change their own answer until then without asking anyone, and after it the list is final.

Answer for a player

The player who texts the coach instead of opening the app still gets counted. The coach sets the answer for him.

One card per player

Their plan, their goals, their attendance and whether it is going up or down, in one place before selection.

Everyone gets their own dashboard

Coaches, players, parents and the committee each log in to their own dashboard with the features built for them.

Download your own data

Any member can download what Frostlete holds about them, without asking the club first.

Delete an account properly

Deleting an account removes that person everywhere in the club, and admins can ask the whole club to agree to the terms again.

Coming soon: fundraising, built-in club websites, kangaroo courts, a fine system for players, kit management, your own web store and opposition analysis. We are building these now, so they are not in the app yet.

Questions coaches ask.

The training area where you type up training, the events with who has answered and who has not, and the development dashboard with tests due, goals due and average attendance.

In the training area, as a list of drills in order. Copy a session or save it as a template and start from it next time. Publish it and players open it on their phone and mark each drill complete; you see their progress on the same session. If you run the gym work, Frostlete for strength coaches shows reusable sessions, recorded tests, and who is coming.

The event shows who has not answered. Press Send reminders and each of them gets an email with a link back to the event.

Everyone has a role: owner, admin, coach, manager, physio, player admin, player or parent. The permissions matrix in the club settings decides what each role can see and change, and the admins manage it themselves.

I run a club too. Request access and I will set yours up with you.

Wants to hearhow your week actually runs

There is a long version of why this exists, and the short version is that every club I’ve played for has been disorganised in roughly the same way. If yours is too, tell me how the week actually runs and we’ll set the club up together.

  • The club name and how many teams play
  • Where the schedule lives today
  • What goes wrong most weeks
