Privacy Policy

This site (frostlete.com) is where we introduce Frostlete and collect early-access waitlist signups. This policy covers what we do with data on this marketing site only — the product app has its own policy at app.frostlete.com/privacy once you sign up.

Data controller

Frostlete is operated by Brendan Bennett, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For any privacy question, email privacy@frostlete.com.

What we collect

  • Waitlist email address — when you join the waitlist, we store your email and the date you signed up. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Analytics (optional) — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous behavioural data (pages visited, referrer, device class, approximate country from IP with the last octet truncated). Legal basis: consent.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) records request metadata (IP, user agent, timestamp) for up to 30 days for abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Contact form submissions — if you email us or fill a contact form, we keep the message and your email to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted processors:

  • Vercel — site hosting and edge logs (USA; SCCs in place)
  • Supabase — database for waitlist entries (EU region)
  • Resend — transactional emails for waitlist confirmations
  • Google Analytics 4 — only if you accept analytics cookies; Consent Mode v2 enforced for EEA/UK/CH visitors

We never sell personal data.

Retention

  • Waitlist entries: until launch + 90 days, or until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics events: 14 months (GA4 default).
  • Server logs: 30 days.
  • Contact messages: 24 months after resolution.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct it if it's wrong
  • Have it erased
  • Export it in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time (including cookie consent via the footer link)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in NL, that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

Changes to this policy

We'll update the “Last updated” date at the top whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be announced on the site.
