How rugby is organised in Georgia

The Georgian Rugby Union’s official competition list now points Didi 10 and First League to scheduled 2026/27 seasons, while Regional League, development and some youth pages still show 2025/26.
Permanent leagues, seasonal phases and parallel competitions stay separate so a cup or playoff is not mistaken for a league tier.
Senior men’s XV
The senior men’s ladder runs დიდი 10 (Didi 10), then პირველი ლიგა (First League), then რეგიონული ლიგა (Regional League). Didi 10 and First League are the only two with 2026/27 pages. The Regional League page still shows 2025/26.
დიდი 10 (Didi 10)
The scheduled 2026/27 page is the current one to follow. The completed 2025/26 season had a regular phase, playoffs and a final, plus a separate First League access series, and those are season phases, not extra permanent leagues.
First and Regional Leagues
პირველი ლიგა (First League) has its own pages, with an automatic promotion place plus an access series. რეგიონული ლიგა (Regional League) uses regional groups and playoff phases, and its promotion and access path is set season by season.
Senior women
The official competition list shows no current domestic senior women’s XV league or senior sevens ladder.
Evidence boundary
This is a gap in the list, not a sign that women’s rugby or other women’s formats do not exist in Georgia.
Development and reserve boundary
The official დუბლები (DBL) page is a 19–23 youth and development competition, published separately from the senior men’s ladder.
19–23 development
Development teams can come from more than one senior league, and some have combined names. They are not a one-to-one Didi 10 reserve table or a senior promotion tier.
Youth and children
The season pages separately list youth A and B leagues, with group and playoff pages, plus children’s festival calendars.
Age-grade families
Youth groups and playoffs are age-grade phases, and children’s festivals are activity calendars. Neither is part of the senior men’s promotion path.
Regional League phases
რეგიონული ლიგა (Regional League) is one senior league with regional groups, upper and lower groups, playoffs and a final.
Geographic groups and playoffs
Group names and playoff names are phases inside the Regional League, not permanent standalone divisions.
