URU's 2026 release lists an 11-week regular season, top-eight quarter-finals and bottom-four relegation playoffs. These are one season's phases, not a fixed promotion and relegation system.
Two playoff paths
The top eight entered quarter-finals. The bottom four entered separate relegation playoffs, with ninth playing twelfth and eleventh playing tenth.
The same URU release says the women's Premiership had completed 12 game weeks before its next phase. The next phase, the table and the teams were not published.
