Utrechtse Rugby Club was founded in 1967 to give people in and around Utrecht somewhere to play. It began at Manitobadreef as the country's seventeenth rugby club. Its women won three Dutch national championships, in 1987/88, 1988/89 and 2004/05.

URC says it was founded in 1967 as the Netherlands' seventeenth rugby association and began on the sports fields at Manitobadreef. Its 2010 statutes state a purpose of giving people in Utrecht and the surrounding area an opportunity to play rugby.

Seniors train Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 20.00-21.30.

First sessions

A six-week €40 senior course twice a season, next scheduled 1 September 2026, Tuesday and Thursday 20.00–21.30, with no commitment.

Seniors train Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 20.00-21.30.

First sessions

A six-week €40 senior course twice a season, next scheduled 1 September 2026, Tuesday and Thursday 20.00–21.30, with no commitment.
