Eemland grew from an English Day at a local school in 1975, when pupils played rugby against their teachers. The club was founded in 1977, although it soon had to leave the school lawn because studs were damaging it. The men won the Dutch national championship in 2022/23.Recent scores

Club history
A school English Day started the club, and rugby boots pushed it off the lawn
Rugby reached Eemland College through a 1975 English Day where pupils played teachers. The club that grew from it had to leave because studs were damaging the school lawn; the posts still stood there.
