R.C. The Pink Panthers
Club summary
The Pink Panthers grew from a marines' rugby section in Doorn. Overseas deployments made it hard to field a team, so civilians were invited to join around 1979. The independent club was founded in 1984, carrying that mix of military and civilian rugby into its own history.Recent scores

Club history
A marines' rugby section opened its ranks to civilians
The club traces its origin to the rugby section of the marines' sports association SVMD in Doorn. Its history says repeated overseas exercises made it difficult to field that side, so civilians were invited in around 1979; about twenty responded, and the mostly civilian section later considered separating from SVMD.
