Welsh Rugby Union domestic rugby includes the separate ten-club Super Rygbi Cymru, 29 published 2026/27 community men’s leagues with 298 team places, and six senior women’s leagues with 43 entries. These season entries are not a list of every club.
Permanent leagues, seasonal phases and parallel competitions stay separate so a cup or playoff is not mistaken for a league tier.
Senior men
Super Rygbi Cymru is a separate ten-club top domestic competition. The 2026/27 community structure begins with a 13-team Premiership and two 13-team Championship divisions.
Super Rygbi Cymru
The licensed competition sits outside the community game. Its regular-season, playoff, Cup and Challenge Shield results are separate, and no automatic link to the community leagues is confirmed.
Community national leagues
The union publishes 29 leagues and 298 team places for 2026/27. It records last season's promotions and relegations but does not publish the current season's rules or promotion terms.
