How rugby is organised in Slovenia
Clubs listedEurope region · Guide updated 1 Oct 2026
Rugby zveza Slovenije governs rugby in Slovenia. Rugby Europe runs the published representative competitions and AARC is a separate four-country competition. The representative records and a five-row official club directory do not give a current Slovenian domestic league, complete club list, complete history or data source this site can use.
Permanent leagues, seasonal phases and parallel competitions stay separate so a cup or playoff is not mistaken for a league tier.
Alpe Adria is a cross-border family
The 2025/26 AARC covers Austria, Croatia, Slovakia and Slovenia, with North and South pools followed by playoff and placement rounds that are not settled.
One shared family, not a Slovenian tier
AARC is a separate four-country competition. Slovenian teams play in it, but that does not create a Slovenian domestic level, promotion path or named list of teams.
The edition remains incomplete
The AARC page’s stated pool count does not match the rows it shows, and its placement fixtures have no scores. No champion, completed table or final ranking is given here.
Domestic and representative rugby stay separate
Current official records cover Slovenia’s 2025/26 representative men’s XV Pool B, 2026 representative men’s sevens, and a 2025 U18 return. Those records do not give a current domestic league season or structure.
Do not turn older or representative records into current standings
A past match title and national-team activity cannot give current domestic teams, fixtures, results, a table, divisions or promotion.
