Run a team testing day in three steps
Set the day up before players arrive, capture each attempt, then decide how to use the results.
1Set up the day
Choose the squad, tests and date so the players know what to prepare for.
2Capture each attempt
Record measurements as players finish and see which tests are still to complete.
3Review and plan the training
Read the results in profiles and leaderboards, then choose the next work for each player.
Review progress with the player
Open the season's results together to see what has changed since the first test. Use the dates and test details to discuss progress and the areas that still need work.
Start with the first result
Read the first recorded attempt beside later results so the player can see how their measurements have changed.
Check the comparison
Check the test, unit and procedure before comparing attempts. A change in how a test was run matters when you discuss the result.
Discuss the ups and downs
Use the full sequence of results in the conversation, including the slower days. A single result does not explain every change in a player's fitness.
Account for unfinished tests
Keep a note when a player cannot finish. The attempt stays unmeasured so it cannot be mistaken for a score of zero.
See the season’s progress.
Use the next test in the coaching review
When new results arrive, read them alongside the programme you assigned. Discuss what changed, then decide whether to continue or adjust the work.
Return to the earlier results
Compare the new measurements with the results you used when choosing the training focus.
Review the assigned programme
Use the results and your coaching observations to discuss whether the programme still fits the player's priorities.
Agree the next work
Keep or change the programme, choose the next training focus and decide when to review it again.

Questions about fitness testing
Can I test the whole team in one session?
Yes. Add the players and tests to the day, then record each result against the right player. You can see who has a result and who still needs to test.
Can I add a custom test?
Yes. Alongside fitness, sprint and strength tests, you can name your own test and choose its measurement and unit. Keep the instructions with it so the team can repeat the same test later.
Do I have to enter results into each profile too?
No. Record a measurement once against the player. That result updates their profile, testing history and progress graph, and connects to the relevant team leaderboard.
Does testing automatically assign a programme?
You choose the programme. Review the results alongside your coaching observations, decide what the player needs to work on and build or select a programme to assign.
Can players share results with a personal trainer?
Players choose which results to share and the coach or trainer who can receive them. That choice covers the selected results, rather than access to the player's whole profile or history.
