How to make your rugby team sheet

Use the editor above to turn your team list into a matchday graphic. Add the starting XV and any replacements, then check the names and details before sharing it.

Name the matchday squad

Enter the starting XV in 1–15 shirt order, then add replacements 16–23 when you are announcing the full matchday squad.

Check the names and match details in the preview, then download the finished team sheet as a PNG.

Rugby union squad numbers at a glance

Forwards: 1 loosehead prop, 2 hooker, 3 tighthead prop, 4–5 locks, 6 blindside flanker, 7 openside flanker and 8 number eight.

Backs: 9 scrum-half, 10 fly-half, 11 and 14 wings, 12 inside centre, 13 outside centre and 15 full-back. Replacements sit at 16–23.
