JIMI RC Vyškov is a rugby union club in Vyškov, in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. Its legal name is Rugby club Vyškov, z.s.; RC Vyškov is the short form for use outside official documents, and the name can be supplemented, for example with a sponsor's name. The club was founded in 1952 and has men's, women's and girls', youth, mini-rugby and veterans' teams. In 2026 its men played in the Czech Extraliga.
History
Rugby in Vyškov was started by students of the town's gymnasium (grammar school) under professor Rinágl, and the first rugby match in Vyškov was played in spring 1952 on the pitch behind the railway station, now the Areál Jana Navrátila. The gymnasium played Zbrojovka Brno, then national junior champions, and lost 3–6. The club was first called Sokol Rostex, after a factory that made small metal goods. It began on a dog-training ground at Palánek, which is why the club long had a dog in its crest, and a few years later moved to the former cycle oval where it is still based.
Vyškov's players were national champions eight years in a row, from 1974 to 1981, in what was then Czechoslovakia. A later national newspaper headline read: "If you want to see rugby's earthly paradise, go to Vyškov." In 2022 the club celebrated its 70th anniversary.
The 2026 Extraliga had six teams: RC Tatra Smíchov, RC Mountfield Říčany, RC Slavia Praha, JIMI RC Vyškov, RU Donau Vienna and RC Dragon Brno. Vyškov finished the regular season sixth, losing all ten matches with 140 points for and 683 against. The team then met RC Praga Praha over two legs in the 2026 Extraliga play-off (baráž), away on 30 May and at home on 6 June; the home leg ended in a 12–55 defeat. The final 2026 ranking of the Czech rugby union (ČSRU), used for seeding in 2027, placed the club seventh, with a warning that the 2027 format might differ. The men were also entered in the 2026 national cup (Pohár ragby XV).

Club life
The club's mottos are Rugby je náš život ("Rugby is our life") and Hrajeme tvrdě a fair! ("We play hard and fair!"). Its statutes set the club colours as red and blue, which appear in the crest. By the club's count in 2025, most of the players seen in its blue-and-red shirt were home-grown, having started at the club as children.
In late September 2025 the club hosted a Stade Toulousain Académie event, which the club calls the academy's first visit to the Czech Republic. Its social calendar includes a traditional St Nicholas (Mikuláš) event at the ground and a rugby dance evening, held on 30 January 2026 at the Kulturní dům in Drnovice.
