Rugby Union Club Piešťany (RUC Piešťany) is a rugby union club in Piešťany, Slovakia, and one of the clubs listed by the Slovak Rugby Union (Slovenská rugbyová únia, SRÚ). The club calls itself more than a sports club: a family community that promotes a healthy lifestyle.
History
The club was founded in October 2014, and in 2015 it called itself a young Slovak club, with youth teams at U13, U15, U17 and U18.
The club has also played in Czech competitions. In April and May 2024 it played matches in the Czech 4. liga XV. By the Slovak Rugby Union's general meeting in June 2025, RUC Piešťany and Slovan United had confirmed they would again play in the transnational Alpe Adria Rugby Competition (AARC) in the coming season, and one Slovak fifteens league match was to be played within that competition. In 2025/26 the club played in the North pool of the AARC as Piestany.
Teams and training
The club has teams for men and women: an A team, a women's team, U18 juniors, U14 cadets and mini rugby at U12 and U10. It takes part in the Czech Rugby Union's regional youth tournaments from U6 to U12.
