Dhahran Rugby Club (Arabic: نادي الظهران للرقبي) is a rugby club in Saudi Arabia, listed by the Saudi Rugby Federation among its clubs. It is in the Eastern Province.
History
By one count, Dhahran Rugby Union Football Club (DRUFC) was founded in 1974, was the oldest club in Saudi Arabia and was a founder member of the GRFU League. At one point in its unofficial history, which runs from 1973 to 1989, the club fielded only one team in Gulf competitions and had yet to win a major title in Gulf rugby. The connection between DRUFC and the club listed by the federation today is unclear.
