Golden Crabs, also called Vientiane Province Golden Crabs Rugby Club, is a rugby union club in Vientiane Province, Laos. By one count, it was the first rugby club in the province. In 2021 it had a women's team.
History
As of January 2021, the club was recently established. Its founder created the Golden Crabs drawing on her own experiences and with the support of the Lao Rugby Federation. By one count, it was the first rugby club in Vientiane Province.
A Vientiane Province Golden Crabs Rugby Club team competed at a January edition of the DHL Vientiane 10s.
Like the other clubs of the Lao Rugby Federation, the Golden Crabs play in the Lao Colours League and the Lao League, an annual competition of eight or more senior and under-18 teams from Laos.
