Stockholm Exiles RFC (Exiles) is a rugby union club based in Gubbängen, Stockholm, Sweden. The club calls itself Stockholm's and Sweden's largest rugby club. As of August 2026, it has seven youth teams for boys and girls, two men's teams, a women's team and a touch rugby section.
History
The club was founded in 1963 by a group of young men from rugby-playing countries who were living "in exile" in Stockholm but still wanted to play rugby. The name comes from that origin. The club's first logo was a glass of foaming beer, later replaced by the letter E with three crowns that it still uses.
The club's home ground has been Gubbängsfältet since the summer of 2023.
In 2023 the club won three Swedish championships. The men's fifteens beat Norrköping Trojan in the finals, the women's side, Stockholm Exiles Ladies, beat Vänersborg RK in the finals, and the men's sevens team beat Malmö RC in the championship final. The men retained the sevens title in 2024, beating Enköping 14–0 in the final. In the 2024 fifteens season the men's team was first in the Super Allsvenskan ranking.
In 2025 the federation cancelled the men's championship semi-finals because only three teams remained in the Superallsvenskan. Stockholm Exiles won the men's title after winning the final matches against Pingvin RC/Kalmar Södra IF. The same year the women's team lost the final matches to Enköping RK/NRK Troján, and the club's P18 youth team won its final against Malmö. The second team, Exiles B, won the northern group of the second-tier Allsvenskan ahead of Erikslund before losing the final to Malmö.
