Club de Golf del Uruguay (CGU) is a sports club in Montevideo, Uruguay. Its rugby section, Los Cuervos, has existed since 1959. As Los Cuervos CGU, the rugby team played in the Top 12 first division in 2026.
History
A society was constituted in 1922 and was officially founded in the editorial office of Mundo Uruguayo. The rugby section dates from 1959.
Los Cuervos CGU was scheduled to play in the opening round of the 2026 Apertura in the Top 12 first division, on 14 March 2026.
Ground
The rugby field is at Cno. de las Viñedos y Cno. Mendoza. The club itself is at Blvr. Artigas 379, Montevideo.
Teams and training
The rugby section fields teams at M7, M9, M11, M13, M15, M17 and M19, as well as Pre Intermedia, Intermedia, Primera and Classics.
