Hermance Région Rugby Club (HRRC; also written Hermance Region Rugby Club) is a rugby club based in Hermance, Switzerland. It plays at Stade Marius Berthet in Chens-sur-Léman, just across the border in France. In 2025/26 its first team played in the LNA, the first division of Swiss rugby. The club also has a reserve team, a women's sevens selection, a rugby school and a veterans' section.
History
HRRC was founded on 15 December 1971 at the villa Boyo. The club credits its founding to the determination of Yves Labouré, who had tried various team sports before being won over by rugby's values of authenticity, at a time when rugby was still little known in Switzerland. Labouré was the club's first president, and had taken part in founding the Association Romande de Rugby in 1967 and the Swiss Rugby Federation in 1972. In another account, the club began when a player who had left RC CERN and lived in Hermance gathered a group of local friends, many of whom had previously played football; the new team first entered the Trophée du Léman.
After its early years in a fragile context, around its twentieth year, the club was able to establish itself on its own ground on the heights of Hermance, in France, thanks to the commitment of the communal authorities and the friendship of Marius Berthet. Salvaged buildings were rehabilitated as a changing room and clubhouse. The club was formerly the rugby club d'Hermance (HRC), and took the opportunity of securing its own ground to rename itself Hermance Région Rugby Club. A French association named Hermance Region Rugby Club, with the object of regional and cross-border rugby, was registered at the stadium on 16 January 2000. Its young members came from Hermance, Anières, Corsier, Collonge-Bellerive and Geneva, and from neighbouring French villages including Chens-sur-Léman, Douvaine and Veigy.
In the 2025 LNA semi-finals Hermance beat GC Zurich 31–29 at Stade Marius Berthet on 10 May 2025. The team lost the 2025 LNA final 25–5 to RC Yverdon. In 2025/26 the first team again played in the LNA.

By the club's count, it has won the Swiss Cup 12 times and the LNA 12 times. Before the 2025 final, it had not won the LNA since 2013.

Club life
The club's values are honour, respect, rigour and camaraderie. Its colours are black and green. The tower of Hermance, which the club calls one of the village's finest sights, has been part of the HRRC crest since the club was founded; the crest also carries the dragon of Saint George. The club presents itself as an example of the region's willingness to share its resources. In August 2026 the club invited supporters to give a donation of at least CHF 100 a year, and offered an official 2026/27 training shirt for CHF 50, with orders closing on 31 August 2026.
