Spartacus Rugby Union Football Club (Spartacus RUFC) is a rugby union club in Partille, outside Gothenburg, Sweden. The club was founded in 1968 and plays at Lexby IP. It has senior men's and women's sections and youth teams. It belongs to the Rugby Väst district. In 2026 its men's team plays in Allsvenskan Herr 15s Söder.
History
The club was founded in 1968. It calls itself Partille's rugby club and the first rugby club in the Gothenburg area.
In 2024 the men finished third at the Swedish sevens championships and second in the Super Allsvenskan fifteens ranking. In May 2025 the club withdrew from the 2025 Super Allsvenskan because of a shortage of players. That August the men won the Swedish sevens championship. By one count, it was the club's first championship title. In January 2026 the local newspaper Lokalpressen named Spartacus RUFC Partille's "Team of the Year" for 2025. In the newspaper's view, 2025 had in fact been a weaker year for the club, but it ended with the team's first Swedish championship gold.
At the 2026 Swedish championship week (SM-veckan) the men reached the sevens final, losing to Malmö.
