Tampere Rugby Club (TRC, also Tampere RC) is a rugby union club in Tampere, Finland, with men's and women's teams. The club calls itself the only rugby union club in Tampere and the wider Pirkanmaa region. Its women's team won the Finnish fifteens championship in 2025.
History
The club was founded in 2001 and calls itself one of Finland's oldest rugby clubs. Its women's team has been playing since 2009.
In 2024 the women lost the Finnish championship final to Helsinki Rugby Club. In 2025 both the men's and the women's seasons opened with matches against Helsinki RC at Myllypuro in Helsinki. The women went on to win the 2025 championship, beating Jyväskylä RC 29–0 in the final. The men finished last in the 2025 SM-sarja and lost the promotion play-off 26–27 to Jyväskylä RC, Division 1 winners. The match was billed as a "brothers' battle", since the two clubs have cooperated a good deal over the years.
In 2026 the men play in the men's Division 1 and the women in the SM-sarja.

Both the men's and women's teams are entered in the 2026 national sevens series; in the 2025 series the women finished second and the men fifth.
The club's junior activity is currently focused on young people of lower-secondary-school age and older, and it offers activities for small children at its home matches. Members could take part in separate touch rugby sessions free of charge in 2024.
As of August 2026, the men and women train from June to September 2026 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:30 to 21:00 or from 18:30 to 20:00 on the Rahola grass pitch. No previous rugby experience is needed. Confirm times with the club.
