Frederiksberg Rugby Klub (FRK, known as the Falcons) is a rugby union club in Frederiksberg, Denmark, which calls itself "a rugby club for all in the heart of Copenhagen". It runs two senior men's teams, a senior women's sevens team, youth grades, and Old Boys and Golden Girls sections. Its first team played in the 2026 Danish men's championship (DM Herrer) as Frederiksberg RK.
History
The club was founded in 1975 by Erik Andersen, then chairman of the Danish Rugby Union (1969–1996), to give his children and their friends proper sporting facilities in Frederiksberg. Rugby balls were introduced to American football players on a pitch at Nandrupsvej, and the club was officially founded on 21 May 1975, with a celebration of sausages and chips.
The club's first Danish men's championships came in 1992–1993. In 2025 the first team played in the first-division (1. Div) play-offs and the second team, as Frederiksberg RK 2, in the third-division (3. Div) play-offs. In spring 2026 the first team played the five-match DM Herrer group stage; on 18 August 2026 Frederiksberg RK were first in the combined table, with 21 table points and 218 points scored against 58 conceded.

Teams and training
The club's two senior men's teams (18+) compete at the top level of Danish rugby, and its senior women's team (18+) plays in the annual Danish sevens series. The youth section runs age grades up to 18, starting with a toddler group for ages 2–3; there are six grades, or eight in another account.
As of August 2026, senior men train on Tuesdays and Thursdays 19:00–21:00, senior women on Tuesdays and Thursdays 18:00–20:00, and youth groups on weekdays from 17:00, with toddler sessions on Sunday mornings.
Previous rugby experience is not required to play for the senior team. Newcomers can try the club free for a month, and the youth section has no waiting list. For a first session, old shorts, a T-shirt, shoes (preferably football boots) and a gumshield are enough.
