Rugby Club NSA (Bulgarian: Ръгби клуб „НСА“) is a rugby club in Sofia, Bulgaria. Its address is the Vasil Levski National Sports Academy in Sofia. The club plays men's XV, men's and women's sevens, under-18 sevens and veterans' rugby.
History
Rugby Club NSA was founded in March 1959. It calls itself the first club to win an official rugby competition in Bulgaria, in 1959, and a winner of the Sofia city championship.
The club ceased to exist in 1961 and was restored in 1985, when a rugby specialisation was opened in the football and tennis department of the VIF. The team was revived in 1986, and Rugby Club NSA was registered in 1992. The year of that revival, 1986, is also given as the club's year of establishment.
In 1994 the club organised the first rugby sevens tournament in Bulgaria, for the NSA Rector's Cup; the club credits it with laying the foundations of sevens rugby in the country. In 1995 the club founded the international tournament Sofia Seven, and in 1999 it began developing rugby for girls and women. The club has also played in international university tournaments and at the Benidorm Sevens.
In the 2025/26 Bulgarian championship the men beat Valyatsite 72–27 on 3 May 2026.
