Its full name is Rugby-Club Anexia-Tigers Klagenfurt 10, shortened to RC Anexia-Tigers 10 or RCT. It is an association under the Austrian Associations Act 2002 (Vereinsgesetz 2002), with its seat in Klagenfurt. The club calls the Tigers "the guardians of rugby in Carinthia". It has men's, women's and youth teams.
History
The club has been active as an independent club since 2008. It calls itself the oldest and most successful club in Carinthia, and it has had its own women's team, alongside the men, since 2014. The other clubs in Carinthia are RC Gladiators Steinfeld and Rugby Club Harlequins Villach, the youngest.
In the 2025/26 Austrian championship (Österreich Cup, ÖSTM), the men played in the quarter-finals and the play-downs. They lost 0–140 to Rugby Club Graz on 19 October 2025, and lost the match for seventh place 0–100 to Stade Rugby Club Wien on 30 May 2026. In the same season the club played in the South pool of the Alpe Adria Rugby Championship (AARC) as RC Anexia Tigers (AUT).
On 13 June 2026 the club hosted the Austrian championship for the U10 and U12 age groups at Koschatplatz. It was the first youth championship ever held in Carinthia.

Youth rugby is open to players from the age of three. As of July 2025, the youth groups are the Tiny Tigers, the Mini Tigers (for boys and girls born from 2017 to 2020) and the Junior Tigers, with the U16 and U18 players training alongside the seniors. Summer youth sessions run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.
The club welcomes players with or without rugby experience. For a first session, sports clothes and trainers are enough; boots and a mouthguard are needed later. Adults can join for a trial month, which starts when the registration form is sent and ends 30 days later. Associate members may take part in summer fitness training and touch rugby events. A membership declaration is available in English.
As of August 2026, ordinary adult membership costs €150 per half-year (€75 reduced), associate membership €50 per half-year and supporting membership €25 a year. Youth membership is €50 per half-year. The club also has a different set of annual rates, and it is not clear which applies. Confirm fees with the club before you join.
Club life
The club's statutes commit it to promoting all codes of the rugby family: rugby union in fifteens, tens and sevens, rugby league, touch rugby, flag rugby, beach rugby and snow rugby. The club is linked to the Beach Trophy beach rugby event. The club's hashtag is #bauernrugby ("farmers' rugby").
